The thought experiment that sparked Fauna Electric Instruments was to design a new guitar that would look at home in the passenger seat of an old Volvo P1800. Classy but not overblown. Sober but far from boring.

Flowing shapes, reminiscent of the great brands of decades past, are combined with modern functionality and appointments.  These instruments are made for the working musician, plain and simple.

All bodies are finished using quality nitrocellulose lacquer. One might categorize the thickness of the finish as "thin skin". Necks are either oiled or finished with nitrocellulose lacquer.
